Seagrass is a cask-strength release from Barrell Craft Spirits' Gray Label line, built around 16-year-old Canadian rye whiskey blended from barrels with contrasting citrus and spearmint character. The whiskey is then finished across Martinique rhum, Madeira, and apricot brandy casks before being blended back together. Expect layers of rye spice, caramel, vanilla, and oak with fruity complexity from the multi-cask finishing. It's a bold, high-proof sipper best enjoyed neat or with a splash of water, suited to whiskey drinkers who like exploring unusual finishes.
