Blanton's Takara Red is a Japan-exclusive edition of the famous single barrel bourbon, produced for the Takara export market and matured a couple of years longer than the standard U.S. release, typically at least eight years in the barrel. It's bottled at the same 46.5% ABV as the original and shares the brand's iconic horse-and-jockey bottle topper. Expect the classic Blanton's profile of nutmeg, honey, vanilla, and caramel, with a touch more depth from the extra aging. Made exclusively for Japan, it's genuinely hard to find in the U.S. and a prized bottle for a serious bourbon collector.
