The Rye has been hand-picked from a few select barrels that had been aged well beyond ordinary bourbon. This Pot Still Rye has been carefully mashed, distilled, aged, and bottled in Boone County, Kentucky. Mashbill: 95% Rye, 5% Malted Barley Barrel# BCPR2 123 Proof Aroma: Caramelized brown sugar, deep oak, a hint of cinnamon, seared caramel, and sweet toasted chestnut. Palate: Sweet oak that has been toasted and charred, thin vanilla wafer, splash of citrus, dark brown sugar resonates with toasted almonds.
