This is a single malt Scotch whisky, not a wine: Dalmore Port Wood Reserve takes the Highland distillery's whisky and finishes it in casks that previously held port wine, building on Dalmore's reputation for bold, dessert-wine cask finishes. Expect notes of red berry, dried fruit, and rich oak spice layered over a full-bodied malt. A fitting after-dinner dram, especially alongside dark chocolate.
