Legent is a bourbon created through a collaboration between Jim Beam master distiller Fred Noe and Suntory's Shinji Fukuyo, finished in a combination of wine and sherry casks after initial aging. Blending Japanese whisky-making sensibility with Kentucky bourbon is the whole idea behind the bottle. Expect caramel and vanilla from the bourbon base with added fruitiness and a touch of tannic grip from the wine cask finish. It's worth sipping neat to catch the finishing influence fully.
